Call to Defund the United Nations (UN) and the United Nations Relief and Works Agency (UNRWA) Due to Their Allegiance to Terrorist Organizations

 

Dear President-Elect Donald J. Trump,

We, the undersigned citizens and supporters of Proclaiming Justice to The Nations (PJTN), urge you to make it a priority to defund the United Nations (UN) and the United Nations Relief and Works Agency (UNRWA) as part of your first order of business upon taking office.

These institutions have repeatedly demonstrated an alarming pattern of supporting and affiliating with terrorist organizations, including Hamas, which is designated as a terrorist organization by the U.S. Department of State, the European Union, and other global entities. The UN and UNRWA have been implicated in enabling terrorist activities, fostering anti-Semitic, anti-Israel sentiment, and facilitating the spread of violence through their operations and funding mechanisms.

We urge you to take immediate action to halt U.S. taxpayer funding to the UN and UNRWA, redirecting these funds toward initiatives that promote peace, security, and human rights, free from the influence of terrorist groups.

We believe that the continued funding of these organizations not only undermines the United States’ interests but also emboldens groups like Hamas, which openly advocates for violence against civilians and seeks to destabilize the Middle East.

As the incoming President of the United States, you have a unique opportunity to make a bold statement that the U.S. will no longer support international bodies that assist those with terrorist agendas. We urge you to fulfill your commitment to put America first by ensuring that our resources are not being used to fund organizations that promote hatred and violence.

We respectfully call on you to:

1. Defund the United Nations and all affiliated organizations that provide material support to terrorist organizations.
2. End U.S. financial contributions to UNRWA, which has been complicit in creating and distributing teaching materials which are anti-Semitic, anti-Israel, and anti-America, and in supporting Islamist groups like Hamas, by facilitating their presence in schools, hospitals, and refugee camps.
3. Redirect these U.S. funds toward programs that genuinely promote peace, security, and humanitarian aid in the region while maintaining support for our ally, Israel.

Our national security, global reputation, and the safety of innocent civilians depend on your leadership in taking swift and decisive action against entities that perpetuate terror and injustice.

We stand with you in your mission to Make America Great Again, and we ask you to uphold the values of peace and justice by immediately defunding the UN and UNRWA.
