FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

PRESIDENT OF PROCLAIMING JUSTICE TO THE NATIONS MOURNS THE LOSS OF MRS. CHERNA MOSKOWITZ, MAY HER MEMORY BE BLESSED, WHO PASSED AT THE AGE OF 93

September 2, 2024 – Orlando, FL. Laurie Cardoza Moore, President of Proclaiming Justice to The Nations and the whole PJTN Team mourn the loss of a modern day “Mother in Israel”.

Mrs. Moskowitz was a generous supporter of the education initiatives birthed by PJTN. “Our bond was immediate. She and I shared the values of faith, family and our love for Israel and the Jewish People. She invited me to join her and her family for holiday celebrations, including family gatherings in Miami and Jerusalem. Not only was Cherna my mentor, she was also very engaged in combating the propaganda war to which our children were being exposed in K-12 education in the United States in general and in Florida, more specifically,” stated Cardoza Moore.

Cardoza Moore then recalled, “Cherna always reminded me of how important our work was. That could not be more true now, as we look at the challenges which we are facing in K-12 classrooms today. I recall when Cherna arranged for me to meet with then, Congressman Ron DeSantis in Washington, DC. She wanted me to show him the extent of the anti-American, anti-Semitic and anti-Judeo-Christian values being taught to the children in America’s classrooms. That meeting launched our nationwide campaign to identify and expose textbook publishers, who were indoctrinating our children. In addition, I am proud to say that Cherna served on our Board of Directors.”

Cherna’s other passion with PJTN was the production of our award-winning media content. The Foundation also supported the production of our documentary film titled: Israel Indivisible: The Case For The Ancient Homeland, which we premiered in Ariel, Israel, at Ariel University’s media center which is named after Cherna Moskowitz.

Laurie recollected, “I remember telling Cherna that she was Israel’s modern-day Deborah, truly our ‘Mother in Israel’. She was a visionary and soft spoken, courageous woman who loved her G-D, His Land, and her People. Although our Cherna is no longer with us, I have no doubt she will be cheering us on with Dr. Moskowitz at her side, as we continue to proudly carry forward her legacy to the next generation. We will miss you, Cherna.”
