PJTN Calls On The U.S. House Education Committee To Open An Emergency Nationwide Review Of Educational Materials In K-12 Education

PRESIDENT OF A GLOBAL EVANGELICAL CHRISTIAN ZIONIST ORGANIZATION CALLS ON THE U.S. HOUSE EDUCATION COMMITTEE TO OPEN AN EMERGENCY NATIONWIDE REVIEW OF EDUCATIONAL MATERIALS IN K-12 EDUCATION THAT IS INCITING THE ANTISEMITIC VIOLENCE ON MANY U.S. CAMPUSES

May 7th – Nashville, TN. Laurie Cardoza Moore, President of PJTN, a global Evangelical Christian Zionist organization, was invited to testify before the U.S. House of Representative’s Education and Workforce Committee about the antisemitic content in curriculum across the United States which is fueling the Jew-hatred on many university, high school and secondary school campuses. Laurie also serves on Tennessee’s Textbook and Instructional Materials and Quality Commission, as well as the Standards Review Committee.

“I am calling on the House Education and Workforce Committee to implore the governors of all 50 states to execute an emergency review of all K-12 curriculum, including textbooks, instructional materials and library books, to insure that we are not inciting the multiple antisemitic attacks on K-12 and higher-ed campuses across the U.S.,” stated Laurie Cardoza Moore.

Proclaiming Justice to The Nations has been at the forefront of the battle over antisemitic propaganda in curriculum since 2012, launching a Taking Back America’s Children initiative to expose the antisemitic, anti-Israel, anti-Zionist, and anti-America content in Pearson Publishers’ textbooks in Williamson County, Tennessee.

The Pearson Publishers’ 10th Edition AP Human Geography textbook had a quote which legitimized Palestinians blowing themselves up in a Jerusalem restaurant because they were waging a war against Israeli government policies and army actions. Additionally, there was a quote accusing Israel of being an “occupier” of Palestinian land.

“Pearson is notorious for peddling propaganda to K-12 students,” stated Laurie Cardoza Moore. She further went on to say that “they have now re-named Pearson PLC and are no longer a U.S. based textbook publishing company. They are British based with their four largest shareholders including the Islamist governments of Qatar, Turkey, Saudi Arabia, and Libya. Shockingly, Qatar is the nation which is negotiating for a ceasefire between Israel and the terrorist group, Hamas.”

Virginia Foxx (VA-R), Chairwoman of the House Education and Workforce Committee will be holding hearings on Wednesday, May 8th in Washington, DC. Congresswoman Mary Miller of (IL-R) invited Cardoza Moore to testify and to submit PJTN’s White Papers to the Committee. The White Papers include over a decade of research conducted by PJTN’s Senior Academic Advisor, Dr. Sandra Alfonsi. They expose the evidence and the history of antisemitic, anti-Israel, anti-Zionist and anti-America propaganda in America’s classrooms.

“When we saw the content in the Pearson Human Geography textbook, and the pro-Palestinian instructional materials which didn’t reference one Jewish, Israeli, or American resource for research, I knew exactly what their agenda was and what the implications would be if we did not rid our classrooms of this propaganda. I publicly stated then that we would lose our children! Not only would they turn on Israel, but they would turn on America as well. We should not be surprised to find our kids marching in the streets shouting ‘Death to America! Death to Israel!’” Mrs. Cardoza Moore stated.

In 2017, Laurie traveled to DC to meet with then Congressman Ron DeSantis to show him the extent of the propaganda and indoctrination in America’s classrooms. After showing him the examples, he committed to removing the textbooks and the Common Core curriculum if he were elected Governor of Florida. Governor DeSantis made good on his word and called for an emergency review of Civics Standards to begin the long process of removing the flawed and/or agenda-based Standards in the textbooks. Florida is now the leader and model in education because of Governor DeSantis’ commitment to our children and this Republic. PJTN is currently reviewing standards and textbooks in Florida, Tennessee, Ohio, Texas, Arizona, California and more recently, Washington State.

PJTN commends Congress Chairwoman Foxx, Congresswoman Mary Miller and the House Education and Workforce Committee for choosing to confront this threat to our Jewish communities and our Republic head-on. Time is short and if not addressed immediately, this issue poses the greatest National Security threat to the future of our Republic.
