Forecast for Florida School Boards: Bright and Hopeful

FRANKLIN, TN – Forecast for Florida’s school boards: plenty of sunshine and abundant rays of hope.

The citizens of Florida voted overwhelmingly on Wednesday, August 24, to replace incumbent school board members with new faces who will uphold the truth about America’s Judeo-Christian history and heritage.

School boards that were flipped include Miami-Dade, Martin, and Duval counties.

“This is what taking back America’s children looks like!” said Laurie Cardoza Moore, founder and president of Proclaiming Justice to The Nations (PJTN). “PJTN has been involved in educating and activating parents and citizens in more than 20 counties across the state for more than a decade.

“Many of the counties that flipped their school boards in Florida worked for almost 10 years to secure this victory. It has been hard fought, but eventually our strategy won!”

Moore and PJTN’s Taking Back America’s Children initiative has actively been supporting, encouraging, and training everyday citizens to engage the democratic process in Florida and win back local control of school boards.

“In October, we will be hosting our Taking Back America’s Children Summit in Williamson County, Tennessee, the county that birthed the movement a decade ago,” Moore continued. “Florida is only the beginning of our efforts to educate, motivate, and activate moms, dads, grandparents, and concerned citizens to get involved.”

Moore was the original momma bear on a mission, confronting her local school board with concerns about falsehood regarding Israel in her children’s civics schoolbook. Her efforts led Pearson Publishing to make changes to the textbook. Cardoza Moore currently serves on the Tennessee Textbook Commission.

PJTN will host its next Taking Back America’s Children Summit in October.

“Go to PJTN.org and register to receive information about this upcoming event so that you can launch this campaign in your school district too!” Cardoza Moore said. “Way to go, Florida!”
